Use OraOLEDB provider in mvc .net application

we developed mvc.net web application and we used entity framework code first approach
now when we published website on client server he asked us to replace provider i used (Oracle.ManagedDataAccess.Client)
with OraOLEDB provider

i Cannot understand the meaning of to providers
and how to replace it if i can

Please any body can help me in this ?
