Is there a way to send a mail without using SMTP, DNS server using c#.

let the mail come to spam. never mind the security and all.. i just want to send a mail. i have no DNS in my server .

Your question make no logical sense at all. If you think about your question in detail it will make sense. How would you be able to send email without an SMTP server of some kind? The answer is you can't.

No if you mean you do not have a local SMTP server, then look at using Gmail or one of several free web mail accounts. However this is would not be the optimal solution for a application that will generate anything more that a few messages.

Solution 1

You can use the server's IP address to connect to, you don't have to use a DNS name.
