I am working on a WEB Api project. I want to do Import/Export functionality . Can anyone give some solution for this.

is the excel file xlsx only or can it include older xls files too?

Yes, it can include both files.
Is it possible for you to send some code then it would be very helpful.

Sorry you had no replies. I've been on holiday.
There are plenty of opensource solutions for xslx, as the base files are very flat, xls files are not. You will need a third party api. Either MS Office apis or maybe open-office apis. You can find plenty of solutions using these apis via google or searching the articles here.
