Unable to connect to the remote server - Web Performance testing - VS 2012

Hi Guys,

I was trying to do a web performance testing via VS 2012, but i always get an error: Unable to connect to the remote server. the target website calls another web service which has a callback url that handles user authentication.

I also tried to ping the ip that was displayed with the error an it is unreachable. What really confused me was, when i browse the site it loads perfectly. What could be the culprit here? for your help guys!

Assuming you have the correct address, the most likely culprit would be the firewall - either the Windows firewall, or a hardware firewall.

You need to talk to your network admins to resolve the problem.
