edit database in server explorer in visual studio

i have an database in Hostand i want to edit or add a new field or table in my database and i could do it until 3 days ago but now when i want to do it it give me this error

Update cannot proceed due to validation errors. Please correct the following errors and try again. SQL00000 :: The target database schema could not be retrieved. The reverse engineering operation cannot continue because you do not have View Any Definition permission on the server mssql.MyServerAddress.

what should i do?

Solution 1

Did you have any updates on Visual Studio? Restart Visual Studio and try again, Alternatively you can connect your database using SQL Server Management Studio, can be downloaded and installed from below link:
SQL Server 2012 Express[^]
