how do I edit or delete google contacts from java application

i am developing application where i need to insert update & delete contacts of google contacts through my application for a perticular user..
I gone through Google Contacts API v3 Reference.. but its too difficult to understand for me.. so is there any other way or other sample from which i can find my solutions

If the API is too difficult to understand then you are stuck. What sort of alternative method do you expect to exist?
