How to create translucent picturebox (or frame) in VB 6.0

Hi,
I am developing a quiz software in VB 6.0. I need to have a tranlucent(semi-transparent) picturebox or a frame that covers the background. I searched the web but couldn't found any perfect solution. Somewhere I got to know about using PNG but that is perfect for transparent only, not translucent.
I use VB.NET also, but since I developed this project in VB 6.0 and have worked much in it, I don't want to re-start in VB.NET.
could anyone please help me??

VB6 was obsolete a decade ago, and was always crap. You should not bother learning it, just focus on VB.NET.
