Server Configuration Error in IIS5.1

I upload my website in iis 5.1 if i try to open this website through internet explorer(using local host)i got following error message.....

Server Configuration Error

The server has encountered a configuration error attempting to process your request. The configuration parameter MD_CUSTOM_ERROR (6008) has an invalid value. Please contact the server administrator for assistance

There would be more to this error. If anything else you get then post here. Check event viewer too.

Solution 1

Look at the properties of the virtual directory where the asp files are referenced and checked the read check box in virtual directory tab.
