How to run web service background tasks?

Hi...

I have a web service project that must run scheduled and continuous background tasks. Do you think I must use threads or maybe sdk's(Webjobs,etc) to do this.

Solution 1

A web service is the wrong choice. You should look at using a scheduled task or if you are on the Windows platform a Windows service.
