Does GCM Service Killed By Android O/S ?

I have facing a problem in my current project , problem is that in my project, i have used 3 services but one of this service is repeatedly Calling ,after some time (not any fixed Duration ) Android O/S killed this service due some reason(like lack of memory etc.) i don't know what exactly ,after that the app not able to getting data from service ,so do resolve that i am trying to implement GCM Push Notification. So my question is that there is any possibility that GCM Intent Service is also killed by Android O/S.If is it so what alternative i can use ???
