Start an application (WPF/Winform) on clicking a URL

Hi,

Problem Statement:

I've a WPF application Installed on my application.
Another function sends an email and the email contains a link (Text: "Click to open").
I need to start the application once the user clicks the link.

So my question is like how could I register my application as specific URL Handler.

I hope my question is clear.

Any other suggestion around it most welcomed.
