Hi CPs,

I was wondering if we can run a Windows app in a browser (ex:Chrome). Lets say VLC media player that is locally installed (All the files are locally installed) and use a browser to run the app inside a browser tab.

Thanks in advance.

WHY??

Running inside a browser is not the best choice as the browser environment is very strictly sandboxed for security reasons. You don't get access to a lot of the system, such as the file system, user documents, registry, and many other things.

5ed, but the real answer would be: running of a Windows application is strictly impossible, and "emulation" makes no sense and is something not really defined.
