What i am trying to do in my TZ 215 router is to stop any DNS lookup going to Google on 8.8.8.8 from my wifi connections (WO) to the router and change the IP to OpenDNS on 208.67.222.222 so that even if someone in windows sets google as the DNS server it will redirect them without anyone knowing.

I think i need to add a NAT rule and not a routing rule and i have tried the advice given here http://www.experts-exchange.com/Hardware/Networking_Hardware/Routers/Q_28225688.html[^] but it does not work.

These sonicwalls are not for the novis user thats for sure and most of the security items won't work unless you pay a licence fee so i am trying to get OpenDNS to do some of the work because you can now register your public IP address with them and then block cetegory's of site from a online interface and they will then block/redirect the DNS results.

It has taken me all day but here is the answer for the NAT rule needed in a tz sonicwall

Create a new NAT policy with the following parameters:

Original Source: LAN Subnets
Translated Source: WAN Primary IP
Original Destination: (8.8.8.8) or use group addess to also include 8.8.4.4
Translated Destination: (208.67.222.222) OpenDNS
Original Service: Any
Translated Service: Original
Inbound Interface: Any
Outbound Interface: Any

Do not try t set the outbound interface, it won't let you
