So after reading headfirst java, i did some libgdx and i also did really simple android game development. I would love to improve and start working on some real world application, like open source projects, but i feel as though everything around me is to complicated for me to understand. Should i study until im good enough to start working on some real work applications, or is there projects that i can do that will help me improve to the point where i can start doing real work applications? Really would love any input, i've been stuck in this rut for quite a while. Thanks!
