DinnerNow 3.1 error after installation in Windows 7

Hi All

I tried to install DinnerNow 3.1 application from (https://dinnernow.codeplex.com/[^]) site.

I am getting below below error after clicking on the icon.

"Windows cannot find '..\..\bin\dc1.exe'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again."

My PC specifications

1.)windows 7
(32 bit)
2.)sql2008

please help me any hint to get out of this error

Well the obvious thing to do is to fix the path in the shortcut. I can't imagine that since that package is 6 years old the author would be interested in supporting it. You are probably on your own.

yes.actually i got .msi file.so i cannot debug the setup..let me check with provider

I already saw something very similar. Weren't you the one who also asked about Microsoft's PetShop demo?
If so, you are doing something wrong in principle. Aren't you just wasting your time?

Solution 1

You should talk to the people who created it - they should provide technical support and will know more about their product than we will. If they don't, then find another supplier and use that - a lack of support is a good indicator of the quality of teh product...
