I have expertise in WMI (windows management instrumentation) based network monitoring application development in VC++ . I also have experience in coding TCP servers . I am interested in getting projects on the same .
If anyone is interested in any of the above platforms pls let me know..
I'm planning to update my block_allocator[^] utility so that it works for MSVC 7.0 (aka .NET 2002) and 7.1 (aka .NET 2003). As I don't have local access to these compilers, I'd be grateful is somebody volunteers to do a little test for me. The whole thing shouldn't take more than 10 min. Please reply to this message and I'll send you the stuff via email. Thanks for your help.

Now, excuse...I have to get back to work.
I'm glad you found my comments funny. However, the fact that they are a complete waste of your time doesn't bother me at all since I am not here to help you make better use of your time. I also know how to value the "time precious time I have on this earth", thank you very much.
And btw, my comments were not intended for you at all. They were in reply to a message in another thread that was posted before yours was, and has been deleted now. In case the different subject line, [EDIT] or the date when each message was posted, [/EDIT] or the fact that you didn't get a reply notification for this "reply" to your post doesn't give you a clue whether or not my post was a reply to yours, try waiting till someone else replies to yours. Or you can do it yourself too. You'll find (surprise!) that the reply to your post will be above mine, because they are in two different threads.
I'm sure you thought you're funny. Little did you realise while posting that you are only making a fool of yourself.
And now you excuse me. I was working while the notifiction about your stupid post interrupted me. Back to work. Don't bother replying, please.

I've taken the time to develop new products and servics for the Supply Chain industry I would like to build.
I am looking for business Partners/Co-Founders. I have 25 potential customers lined up which represents $125,000 in capital. It will take 6 months to code and debug. I am willing to offer up to 50% ownership with partner(s)...
I am lead software engineer for a fairly large software company. I am willing to volunteer my time to any project in order to learn C# and the .Net framework. I am willing to put in around 4-5 hours per week.
Hi, I want to get some of you hard core coders to give my new Surfulater product a bash. In return everyone that provides any useful feedback, good, bad or otherwise will get a free copy.
In essence Surfulater lets you save information while you are surfing the web, be it selected text and images or complete web pages. It enables you to edit, annotate, cross reference, organize and search for information in its knowledge base. You no longer have to try and remember what web site specific information was on or worry about the site or information disappearing.
See www.surfulater.com[^] for more information. You can download Surfulater by simply registering on our forums or e-mail me for a direct download link.
Well, this is a forum for software developers to find people to help test their software, or to co-develop with them, not for help on linux problems, so posting in a more appropriate forum would be better (and with a more clearly written question - I don't have a clue what you're asking!)
Tipically I use TortoiseCVS when I use cvs in Windows. It has the option of using an RSH/SSH key to authenticate me instead of a password.
I'm trying to get cvs to work on the command line with my private key instead of a password so I can set up a build proccess with little human interaction. I've found the CVS_RSH environment variable and set that to my SSH aplication (TortoisePlink.exe), but I can't seem to be able to pass parameters to it (my private key).
Maybe I should be using a different cvs clien instead of the Tortoise package??
Guys I'm tired of the casino games you pick up at wal-mart... So I'm writing something better. I'm looking for ideas on ways to organize the AI. My experience with AI in college was pretty much limited to the Chess game we programmed. Computer suggests a move and then plays out an artificial game for about 4 moves ahead, repeats this for 3 or 4 possible moves, picks the best choice, and executes. Its a brute method and I'm wondering if anyone out there has any suggestions or could point me to some references.
I don't think the chess analogy will work with Texas Holdem'. There is to much luck involved.
I think I would develop a point scheme:
1) What are the odds that I currently have the best hand?
2) What are the odds that I could make it better?
3) How does the known betting history of my 'in' opponents effect these odds?
4) What is my position in the bettting sequence?
5) How much money do I have in relation to my 'in' opponents?
I would give points to these factors and decide to bet accordingly. I would then adjust the point system until I have achieved an adequate winning ratio. You can even adjust points to emulate different playing styles (beginner, aggresive, conservative, etc.).
PanelRows , rows that behave like panels , where you can place controls
TableRows , like standard grid rows
TabRows , TabStrip container for child rows , each childrowtype will be placed in a separate tab
ShowParentRows , feature to force parent rows to be visible for the first visible row
this makes it possible to always see what data a row belongs to
no editing , selections , sorting or grouping is in place yet.
im currently working on xp and o2003 theme support.
need testers and feedback.
is it a good idea to be able to present data as the panelrows?
what features other than those listed would be good?
