That sounds like the dress code over at PayChex... from what I hear, the dress code WAS, suit and tie, all women had to wear dresses or skirts. The men could not have any facial hair and men could not have hair longer than their collar. This would be for EVERYONE even if you were not meeting with clients. Even the IT people had to wear jacket and tie (I think they could take the jacket off while they were under a desk - but had to put it on soon afterwards). I have also heard unconfirmed rumors that the dock workers had to at least wear a dress shirt and tie too.

But they have loosened up abit. The men can now also wear sweaters and a dress shirt.
