I've recently added some server-side SPAM control to my domain and I'm noticing that mail from CodeProject is being filtered out as SPAM.
One thing my server is now doing to marking mail as SPAM if the IP address the message was received from does not have a reverse DNS entry. If I receive a message from CodeProject.com (e.g. 209.171.52.99) its IP address cannot be used to get the name of the domain. This can be seen with ping:
ping -a 209.171.52.99
Anyway this can be changed to avoid CodeProject message from being flagged as SPAM?

Well.... In the beginning there was a big bang....
Seriously, it has been posted somewhere before. I've just had a quick look and I can't find it just now. But to summarise: Chris used to work for CodeGuru but it got bought over by a company that was only interested in the profits generated by the revenues the site would bring and so CodeGuru began to suck. CodeProject was started originally as CodeTools until it was discovered there was another company with the same name, so it was renamed CodeProject. CodeProject has been steadily building up since and is now IMHO the best community driven developer web site for Microsoft development tools.

I think a monthly column would be a good idea. A more detailed behind the scenes look at CodeProject would be nice, beyond what currently appears in the newsletter and has appeared in Chris's blog.
I doubt whether the CodeProject team would have time to do it, but it would be nice to see a joint column by the team as we all love a good war story and I'm sure we could all learn something from the trials and tribulations of running this site.
Some suggested titles,
* A day in the life of Chris Maunder.
* Editing articles on a slow internet connection by Nish
* Fixing Chris's bugs whilst he's away - by the rest of the team 
* How to keep one million users happy on a limited budget.

If I vote for the same message twice, I get a message saying I've already voted. It would be more helpful if the new vote would just override my older vote... occasionally I'll hit the wrong number by accident, or vote for the wrong message.

Why? There are plenty of job sites out there already. CodeProject is better concentrating on its core competency which is articles about developing software and forums to ask questions about software development issues.
Whilst you could argue that jobs are a software development issue, I personally feel the facilities offered by CP are adequate.

Hope this is not a repost.
With the recent performance issues, it may work better if the forums where on a couple servers by themselves. Then if people started downloading a lot of articles, it would not effect the machines running the forums. This would make the forums stay more responsive.
For me, speed and reliability is required more in the forums than articles. When looking for an article it does not matter if I have to try a couple times, but if you are browsing through the forums, it can really discourage you on each page click.
In addition, there are the times when you are posting a message and the server dies where you may or may not be able to get back to your post to resubmit it.

I'm sure this has been posted by others, but just in case,
We (like a lot of others, I'm sure) have a intranet at home where all our machines look like the same ip address to fool our ISP. However, CP won't allow Tom and I to work independently in terms of voting and such. Will this always be that way or are there changes in mind for letting programming couples work independently?

Ah, ok, I didn't know that the server looked at the IP address as well as the account. That's probably done to prevent one idiot from making dozens of accounts just to vote something up/down.
When you set up a private internal network, all data going outside the network appears to come from the same IP address. That's just how NAT* works. The CP server can't know that VoteA and VoteB came from different computers on someone's private network.

I just have a problem with the fact that in order to deter the minority that are acting incorrectly, the rest of us have to suffer.
