Anyway I find that the music helps me get "in the zone" and I do not get distracted but too much singing. It allows you to stream audio to your pc but also saves the stream to your hd for later listening pleasure. At home mostly silence, but sometimes lite jazz off the satellite dish. I find this very relaxing for those 3 AM programming tasks... Smith, Jars of Clay) Hard Rock (Linkin Park, Evanescance, Green Day, Hoobastank) Classical (Tchaikovsky, Beethoven) Rap (Tobymac, Eminem, Jay-Z, D-tent Boys) Techno/Dance (Moby, Da Rude, TrANcE, and the Command & Conquer game soundtracks) The only music I'm not real thrilled about is Smooth Jazz.
