But much as life without women is intolerable so is life without good food and all too often "healthy" eating results in bland, unejoyable eating experiences. There is fantastic healthy food out there, it is more the fault of health nuts imposing repressive lifestyles on people to meet unrealistic and unhappy life goals. Bottom line for me is to enjoy what I eat. In the company of a good woman is even better, so long as she enjoys food too. Maybe you just haven't tried good, healthy food? Eating healthy doesn't mean sacrificing taste. Also, it's worth noting that your body gets used to what you put in it. So, the more you eat Broccoli (just an example) the more you acquire a taste for it. Also, there's nothing wrong with being healthy and having the occasional "bad" meal. My dad, overweight as he is, is a much happier person than many of his thin friends. My uncle is ultrafit, runs marathons, eats right etc. etc. and has had 2 heart attacks. My dad may die a bit earlier than some healthier people but he'll die happier. Sure, you can combine health and happiness but it is not done by many. And yes there are many unhappy, overweight people. Some of that lot are unhappy because they are made to feel ugly thanks to the media and money-making diet and body-image nazis. I guess, as usual, moderation is key. And that brocolli arguement is just terrible Jeremy!
