Great - so generative AI will be feeding us conspiracy theory crap. The AI will need an AI to filter out the BS.
Then again, the tin foil hat crowd will soon enough have an AI that will feed you only lies, superstition, conjecture, false science, hearsay, and general pure fiction.

A few months ago, a dentist referred me to an endontist for a root canal. To go to my appointment, I first had to "sign-up" - meaning fill out their online forms, etc. For me to fill out the forms, I had to consent to an 18 page list of conditions including medical sharing, privacy, etc. as if I was going to read and understand all that garbage. Privacy policies are a joke. There is a very common tool many doctor offices use now that runs on some sort of tablet. Yep, the s/w company that supports the tablet forces you to agree to the collection of data. I don't think doctors are even aware of this.
Googles move is anticipatory of the lawsuit just filed against ChatGPT. It also explains why most support sites are no longer open to google.

I can tell you that most of the ones I know... no, they aren't.
And the problem is, when you explain it to them, they would like to change it, but they mostly can't do anything against it, because there are only 2 or 3 companies with products that fit their needs and all do the same.

people should just stop spending their time modding for free..if they charge money they could at least use that money for some thing like a vacation or something for the family...reddit and other site should be left to spammers...and half of it is indecent stuff... and the current management want to get rich via IPO as if the public want to buy shares in this q and a site with some random ads..
