Well... at least, it was a lucky day for ya!

My daughter was born on Friday the 13th (supposedly a very unlucky day) and since then 13 has had good connotations for me.

Do you think I can risk to drink the 13'th beer?

|
|
Definitely!
Stopping at 12 might cause you a hangover. Do you want to risk it?!

Friend, consider move to China.
People there like 13, but some of them are afraid to see 4, 14, 24... Thus there may not be the 4th or 14th floor in a hotel.

My man is also allergic to a ton of stuff. Peaches and melons can kill him. I'm glad for you, that the initiative you took with your diet paid off. That's great news!

I like 13.
My Mother-in-Law was very, VERY superstitious. Hated 13. Avoided it like the plague.
I now live in House Number 13. Very, very few visits from the M-in-L and when she did visit she didn't stay long at all. Happy Days!
Glad you've finally nailed the allergies

Haha!
I'm blessed to get along with my in-laws. So many people don't.

I hazard to guess that your in-laws don't meddle in your affairs too much, and this is why you get along with them. I know for most in-law stress, it is because the MIL is a meddler, among other things. Interestingly enough, the MIL is the main antagonist, not the FIL, as one might think. The FIL usually goes along with what the MIL does because he doesn't want his sex life to end.
Those who have a good relationship with their in-laws ARE truly blessed.

My MIL is something of a meddler, but I think she realizes she is, so she keeps herself from getting too overbearing.

Both of my in-laws have passed away, so no problems/benefits at all.
I loved my Mother-in-law totally and completely. She was the only person I ever met who was good, through and through, Mind, body and spirit. Sometimes I got on better with her than my wife!
My father-in-law was a PITA. He never forgave me for sleeoing with his daughter. When walking her down the aisle, he literally had a scowl on his face!
But I buried him AND the Collie he used to sic on me when I would pick her up for a date before we were married. "He who laughs last, etc."
That's right, I communicated it!

All I know is that being run over 13 times by a steam roller on a Friday is a sign of bad luck.
|
|
|
|
|
Seeing that you would die most assuredly after the 1st time you got rolled over, how would you be able to count to 13?
|
|

Who said that I was the one being rolled over?

Well...
On October 13th 2014 I had such severe food poisoning I should have been in the hospitable.(To tell you how bad it was, imagine eating Taco Bell, it was ten times worse than that...)
Then on the night of September 13th(officially the 14th, but it was 2 in the morning), my dad died......
13 a good luck number? I don't think so...

How many distinct "events" do you experience a day? A week? A year?
How large fraction of those events could be said to include some negative elements?
There is a (roughly) 3% probability that a randomly timed event will land on the 13th of the month. If you stretch it the way you do, including the next day as well to make your point, the probability is 6%.
How many randomly timed events, with 3% chance of hitting the 13th (or 6%, if you include the 14th) does it take to make more than 50% probability that at least one of them will hit that date? How does that number compare to the number of events in your life?
When you start your studies, make sure to take a course in elementary statistics.

Cheers to you for getting a pain-free life!
On the subject, we had to change a number for one of our products because it sounds like "Death" in Chinese (apparently, Chinese is huge on treating numbers as words, good n8 being only a very mild example) and the MR2 didn't sell terribly well in France. Feel free to guess why :p

Thanks!
It took me 30 seconds to figure the problem with MR2, losing my French!

Greetings Kind Regards Nice to hear you solved your problem . May I please inquire your solution . Is it merely avoidance of the triggers ? Kind Regards - Cheerio

Yes, it is merely avoidance of trigger.
But there is a difficulty, some food trigger thing one day and not the next (food intolerance have some sort of cumulative effect) and some food are barely negative while other are very detrimental, and also some food have small effect for a long time... it took me a while to decypher it satisfactorily... In fact my biggest is for years was eggs... if mixed with other thing they make me feel just "somewhat unwell" but it still last for like 2 weeks. Making it hard to get thing right... :/
Now, I can eat slightly bad food when going out (like 1~2 days symptom tops), which make it more socially feasible as well. And I have a wide enough diet I am not frustrated and sick.

Well I'm not a superstitious man but I do have a lot of fun playing on them. I tell everyone that I got myself the "iPhone Cursed" (v. 13) and I'm just waiting to see what great bug is going to make it a self-fulfilling propechy
