When we vote on a post, the popup that comes up would be more useful if it told us what the new rating is. Right now we have to refresh the page to see how our vote affected the post's rating. Something like :-

Your vote of 5 for Trollslayer's message has been recorded. The new rating for this post is 4.7 from 17 votes.

I think it would be pretty cool if we could view the statistics by country as well. For example, have an option to view most active in the forums by country. It would also be nice if we could view member percentages for all coutries, not just the Top 10 countries. I'm not sure if these suggestions are practical, but they would be quite interesting IMHO Big Grin | :-D

I second that. I'm sure the data is already there, it's only a matter of displaying it. There could be a link leading to the country page, so that anyone clicking that link would know that they are going to download a huge page.

Hi Chris,

I think there's a missing "Content-Length: nnn" in the HTTP reply. It would be nice to have this fixed, especially if you use a download manager that can use multiple connections, but maybe you disabled this feature just for that... Smile | :)

Not sure if CP already does this but it would be nice to be emailed when an article you have bookmarked is updated.

Searching comments (again)

I don't know if it's just me, but whenever I go to the second or subsequent pages of results (at the moment anyway), the search defaults to "All Forums", even if the first page specified the lounge only.

I submitted a project “http://www.codeproject.com/cs/miscctrl/Group_Panel.asp”. The links (Images and zip file) were working fine while it was “Unedited”. Now the project was changed to its new category and now the links are broken. After a project is “Edited” we can not change it. What is the fastest way to have the broken links fixed?

It would be quite handy to be able to specify the author when searching for comments. There's been a number of times I can remember a particular person making a comment about a particular topic, but having to wade through tons of search results to find it.
