Hey guys, is there a plugin to implement the feature where on my directory website professionals are charged a fee automatically for each appointment booked?
(Their clients won't process the payments on my website, just the professionals)

sites that hide the delivery costs page, or "calculate it at checkout" so you can;t tell how much an order is going to cost until right at the end and can't compare total cost with other sites ... 
I had one of those recently: £300 worth of wood - great price per meter - £100 for delivery. But you don't find that out until they want a credit card number.
I went for a site asking £330 for the wood and £30 for delivery ... all costs shown up front.

Websites that "look" nice, but are hard to use.
- what can I do here?
- where do I find the functionality I need
- why is this fancy photo so nice, but do I need to scroll down way to much to find what I need
- where is the bloody contact form and why can't I just drop a mail?
- ...

Years ago a tech company was giving out PDA (before smart phones took off) but you had to like them on Facebook to enter the contest for the give away (or something like that). As badly as I wanted one, my distaste for Facebook was much greater.
It was a marketing gamble to be sure, and I had a much poorer view of that company after that. Don't force us to use social media to get ahold of you.

If you start trying to tell me how diverse you are...
If I discover that you sacked someone for their politics (whether I agree with them or not)...
If you start trying to educate me about the rights of your favourite minority...
I'm not interested in working at your company (long experience has taught me that such places are the worst for internal petty politics and bullying), and I'm already less interested in buying anything from you.

If there are pop-up adds or other unrelated ads I will assume that they are not so much trying to sell me developer tools as make money just from my visit, what I click on, or what info they can pull from my computer. I am also put off by these websites that insist that for me to use them I have to agree to let them install cookies on my PC.

I love it when there's no readily available technical documentation, and you're funneled into giving them an email so you can get harassed and passed around by the sales team with it. My favorite.

Having to create an "account" just to see the product spec. I also love to test this process by creating an account, logging out, pretending I've forgotten the password - just to see if they send me my original password back in plain. Happens far too often

0) making me slog through multiple pages/links to find a concise statement of what the tools are, and how/what they are used for that would be valuable.
1) pop-ups
2) no disclosure of prices
3) requiring you to enter information more than e-mail and name to get a free trial or newsletter sub
4) any form of marketing hype including "enter a contest to ... " stuff.
5) gratuitous visuals with impossibly healthy people looking happy

Your #0,2,and 3 are at the top of my list. The rest are farther down.

Number 5 is particularly annoying when the impossibly beautiful and happy people are allegedly software developers.

Accepting only credit cards and failing to accept debit cards, especially Discover debit cards.
Here at the purchasing desk, I receive updates from finance and from other users containing new card information, usually just the number, name, expiration date and CVS code. I am not informed whether it is a debit card or a credit card account, nor from the text of the memo, do I know whether it is Visa, Master Charge, Discover, American Express or something else. (I can distinguish between some by looking at the first few digits of the card number.) People expect me to be able to order stuff for them, negotiate discounts, and use the account to actually pay for stuff.
Cards sometimes fail and the site almost never gives an explanation. It just says something like "invalid card" Nowhere on the site does it explain that the site does not accept debit cards. This leads to angry exchanges with my users, especially when they do not have another available card (except for personal cards - How would you like to charge several hundreds of dollars to your personal account and have to hope you receive timely reimbursement from finance. Of course, finance never pays your interest charges!).

Lord, grant me the serenity to accept that there are some things I just can’t keep up with, the determination to keep up with the things I must keep up with, and the wisdom to find a good RSS feed from someone who keeps up with what I’d like to, but just don’t have the damn bandwidth to handle right now.

I go to a website and see all this hype and I end up closing the browser tab with absolutely no idea what the thing actually is, what it does, and why I would need it.
I wish these websites would start with: "This package addresses this problem in this way."

I saw one of those recently. There was an advert on my Facebook stream about a new framework. I went to the site, read the text, watched the video... and still completely clueless about what problem it was solving.

Seriously, we're developers. We don't want to talk to most people and Salespeople are the WORST. If you can't bother to put your pricing on your website, I'll find another vendor!

Verborrea with all the buzz words strung as closely together as some genius of a script writer or page designer can get them.
On the bright side - if that's what they need to sell their snake-oil descended products than I should be grateful I can stop reading immediately.

Errors in the documentation and demo's that don't work.

Email addresses that validate wrong, like not accepting hyphen in domain names.
Password boxes that don't tell you the "rules" unless you break them - I enter the password, I enter it again to confirm, I ENTER, you say "needs to be nine letters". I extend it, I ENTER, you say "needs at least one uppercase letter". I faff with the case, I ENTER, you say "needs a special character". I ADD A SPECIAL CHARACTER, I ENTER, YOU SAY "needs a hieroglyph", then a blood sacrifice, then a dusting of powdered unicorn horn, then ... I sod off elsewhere and never come back.

The email address - where they don't accept domain that aren't common enough (as though spammers don't use common TLD's). I have a .info domain I use for most common return addressing (via a catchall).
If it's rejected then they are, in effect, rejecting my business.
