The new messages flag gets set on the forum, so you look at page 1 and see there is no new message. If you then put * in the search box above the forum and click search, it will list the most recently added messages.

Maybe this is a good moment to give a heads up to @mehreentahir16 and @afzaal_ahmad_zeeshan to pay a bit more attention when moderating articles.
I have seen both approving several items that where having issues or being reported here.

I don't recall moderating any other article now or in the past ~3 hours.

I have been playing Apex Legends for the past 2h+, and came just because of the notification email I received.

While we are here, a few questions:
1. What happens if we update the vote? If I re-vote for an article, does the previous one gets updated?
2. Is there a way to remove the vote that was cast mistakenly or if I need to change it?

As far as I know, if you re-vote then it should overwrite the previous one.
With nuking reports it works like this, but I am not sure if reporting something else will get the approval away. Maybe ask it in B&S?

Then you did it before starting your game session so the "again" (after your apology) doesn't apply.
