I actually like NIN, some of their stuff.

I took my oldest son with me to a NIN concert years back and we ended up walking out, they sucked!

I'm hiding from exercise...I'm in the fitness protection program.

It's not death metal, it's not even metal.
It's labeled as "avant-garde" which could mean anything.
Not sure what guitar solo you mean because I can't listen to that crap for more than a few seconds.
You won't believe this, but I got to know that album from a POSITIVE REVIEW I read back in 2005.

I remember them from the late 80's. They were good then. Haven't listened to them in years.

They are probably trying very hard to stay relevant now. IMHO, their time has past ( I hope I am wrong).

It's different from their full-on industrial music.

No vocals, Very minimal, ambient, piano and some subdued sax in the beginning.
