I just created a new project in Android Studio from one of the templates and while the template project was being generated and built for the first time I saw this popup in the bottom right corner of Android Studio:

There is a little circle i icon but there is no hovertext or any additional information that appears on that icon. There's no additional info. Just that question.
Some (many) devs are not great at providing context.

pretty tame, if you want to properly get people to do something:
Would you like to XXXXX [Yes] [Later]
- android itself, and more than a few apps are getting that way.
- winduds of course even more blunt take's that to the next level, they enforce a limit on "later"
- can't say for apple but I'm pretty sure it's gonna be the same.
wait till the auto manufacturers bring that on, hopefully not in my time
after many otherwise intelligent sounding suggestions that achieved nothing the nice folks at Technet said the only solution was to low level format my hard disk then reinstall my signature. Sadly, this still didn't fix the issue!

I used to drive 1000 miles a week just to and from work. After 4 years I moved closer to the office and drove about 10 a week.

My "commute" is usual 15 minutes with no motorway, so thankfully it doesn't happen very often, and never before have a queued for 3 hours. Was sooooo cold too

I used to have a 15 minute walk to work for quite a few years, until the company was sold to Sun (later Oracle). Then it was back onto the M3. Luckily they made me redundant after 6 months.

A3, M25, ... 10 years ... 1 hour a day each way by motorcycle, unless some idiot did something stupid. Which happened 9 times out of ten, it seemed. So you had to allow two hours each way so you weren't late for work. Service every eight weeks, new rear tire every service, new front every second service.
Before I started I loved sunrises, because I saw them so rarely. Then I got to see them every day.
I do not miss that at all.
