I'm working on a permanent place for my 3D printer, and it's goin on my short filing cabinet - too many reasons for this little bon mot.
Anyway, that means leveling the cabinet properly - I did a temporary job with a pile of books when I put it in there, but you know how long they last: 8 or 9 years, I think.
So today is "build a 3D printer case" day, and first off, grab a lump of fence Post I have kicking around, cut it, clean the ends, cut it to length, sand it, chamber the edges and screw it to the cabinet base.
Stick it in place to find how big a bunch of shims I'll need - I want the printer sitting on a stable, level surface - and on goes the inclinometer.
0.3 degrees Front to Back.
0.3 degrees Left to Right.
I'll take that - my floor isn't near that level!
Hopefully this is a sign of how things will go today

In the past I have used (currently using) adjustable feet for my desk and shelving because parts of my home are over 100 year's old, and not level.
This may help you achieve level for any table, desk, shelving unit, etc. Just a thought. Note, the link below is for wood, but you can find other types for plastic and metal, etc. The idea and function remains the same, achieve level for an item on an un-level surface.

ugh, i feel your pain.
our place is only 30 years old but in order to level it enough to install wood floors we had to tear up the subfloor and shim everything.
The walls are still crooked. 
When I was growin' up, I was the smartest kid I knew. Maybe that was just because I didn't know that many kids. All I know is now I feel the opposite.

Sorry to hear. Parts of my home are several million years old, but everything is either perfectly level or plumb.
I'm retired. There's a nap for that...

Have fun. At least 3D printers don't rotate with 2700 rpm or fly and they also don't do very extreme things if you failed to level them properly. 
Actually 0,3 deg. is not so bad. I have never heard of anyone making a big fuss over how well leveled the entire printer stands as long as it is so little. Leveling the build plate, however...
That reminds me of stiill having to take apart the extruder of mine and clean out whatever there still is in there. Cleaning it with acetone will not work. It cand solve PLA and I don't want to have any of the stuff in my house that could.

yes, but when it's idle.
cats have a totally different perspective of what/where is comfortable,
and more often then not that perspective is contrary to what humans deem important/valuable

That's most of why I'm building a box for it - so that the cat can't sleep in it, eat the cables, chase it while it's printing, ...
So I had a 1220 x 2400 sheet of 5.5mm ply delivered today, and I'm out in the garden cutting it up with what seems to be most of my power tools involved ... So far today my drill driver and pilot / countersink / screw bit adapter (very handy), rotary sander, cross cut rotary saw, table saw, and soon the routers ...

Since his printer is not level, then his printed stand would not be level either, true? IDK really. I am not familiar with 3D printing so much.

Actually, that's not so important as long as the extruder and the build plate are adjusted properly.

He has the current leveling devices (old books) installed. This should suffice until he has created the new custom stand with each leg the appropriate length - or at least some end-caps for the existing stand to adjust the heights of each leg/corner/whatever.
