(off topic) Call and complain to DirecTV. When I signed up with them about a year ago, I needed a copy of the first month's bill to take advantage of a mail-in-rebate from a store. I called repeatedly asking for it, never got it, and the rebate expired. After talking to them again, and faxing in the rebate form, they credited my account with $$$. They may have taken a loss on that because the rebate was ultimately from the store I bought at, and not DTV, but at least they still have me as a customer.
