Need Help In VB Packaging Indiana19-Sep-01 22:45 Indiana 19-Sep-01 22:45  Hi, I have done a project using VB and SQl. I also created a setup (packaging) file. When installing I got this error. I am using Win 2000. The error is The File C:\Docume~1\Admini~1\Locals~1\Temp\msftqws.pdw\$(DLLDelfRegisterEx)' could not be registered because it was not found. I had to go into the folder options in Windows Explorer and choose to view all folders -- hope this solves your problem. You can NEVER be sure that a VB application will install successfully. However, if you have a limited number of customers, it will not be a big problem. Apart from that VB application has Lots of dependency file which when installed may or may not creat a conflict problem . that totally depends how compatible(I mean version of the dependent files which you ignored while installing your VB application)) is your development machine and the staging machine.
