I do drink alcohol from time to time, but rarely a lot and only when it's very sweet (although those are the most dangerous as they taste like lemonade  )
Never liked coffee, never smoked, and I've been a vegetarian since I was 10
People often assume "the worst", that I'm some very serious straight-edge idealist, but I just never liked the taste (except meat, I just like animals more than people)

Ok, a few glasses of alcohol is nice to get loose, so I do that from time to time.
No smelly breath and clothes sounds fine.
I like the meat replacements better (and some even taste like meat).
I could really use coffee, I'm not a morning person, I sometimes mix it with hot chocolate, but coffee really tastes bad.
I'd ask for anti-depressants if I HAD to use them

I know it is in jest, but there are too many people who try to convince the other about the superiority of their own standpoint. I drank coffee as a kid, with lots of sugar and milk. Milk was being touted on TV as "the white engine" in those days, and sugar is simply a form of fuel.

I heard a priest make that claim once too, and I'm very happy to not be a priest. Technically, you may be missing a bit B12, but that's hardly a worry nowadays; just take a supplement.

Pretty sure Starbucks has something coffee-related for your sweet tooth If not, there's this german instant-coffee that tastes like hot sweet vanilla-chocolate milk. I forgot the name, but will post it as soon as I see the sign again.

Meat is lots of calories with little to no fiber and a good idea for those who have trouble digesting stuff. Combine that with the perception that some meats are delicious, and we have two extremists preaching to another.
I made my own seitan last year. Simply using flour and a (mushroom) broth cube. Easy, cheap, and tasteful on the BBQ. Tasted just like meat would taste. So, my assumption that you are "missing out" may be simply wrong
The taste of American style bacon is incredible; but so was the vegetarian pizza that a friend of mine made, and I haven't been able to come up with a better non-vegetarian version yet. No, didn't even contain fake meat, and I didn't miss the meat either.

Sugar is pretty addictive, I have seen people try and quit and be in agony for days if not a whole month.
You can only beat an addiction with another (sadly). Try to find the routine when you crave for it in the day/night and then replace with another substance (I'd go with coffee).

Oh Zero.
Thank goodness for it too because all my life when I still had the metabolism of a weasel, I could not fathom how the girls about me could suffer those diet drinks and the horrid aftertaste.
As I grew in to my older years and the coke drinks were becoming a visible liability, along came zero. Not just low calorie or low sugar, but zero dude! And as long as it's cold, it tastes good. But even warmer it's not anywhere near as bad as diet soda.
Viva La Coke Zero!

I like full fat Coke. However, around 2 weeks ago I started drinking Zero (both are free at work in the fridge outside my office). Wanted to see if it made any difference. I was only drinking one can of Full Fat a day, around 3pm.
I have also stopped having a full lunch. I was just eating far too much at work. They over feed us offshore. I have a few crackers or digestives and some Kiri cheese for lunch and then a normal full meal at night.
I have noticed now that I now am sleeping better at nights! Less tossing and turning, no waking during the night or anything like that.
I am not overweight, but haven't stepped on a scale yet to see if has made any change. I will check before I jump on the helicopter to go home. The big test will be when I get home, where it is hot and sunny and I like a few ice cold cans during the day while lazying about the pool.

I've never liked the old "Diet" versions of most sodas. Weird aftertaste and harsh on the palette. Regular Coke (and Mountain Dew for that matter) taste too syrup-y to me now though that I stopped drinking sodas constantly so I prefer Zero. Actually drinking some Coke Zero at the moment for some afternoon caffeine.

Diet Coke. I switched to Diet Coke at the same time I quit smoking, so I associate full-strength Coke with cigarettes. At this point, I actually prefer the taste of Diet Coke.
