The problem seems to be that by creating these new accounts they are somehow not getting caught by the spam filter. I think maybe they are assumed to be valid messages for the Chinese language forum.

When you said you were clearing out things that were closing how are you doing that (as in, can I help?)

I've dumped the closed ones on S&A - they've been fed to the auto shredder so they just waste screen space now - but most of 'em aren't closing because they just aren't getting enough spam votes...

I think people are getting disheartened.
I have difficulty reporting the messages (the sub-menu disappears) so I've targeted the perps mainly. I'm back on the case during this last half hour of lunch though.

Disheartened and RSI ... my left hand is really feeling it right now, and I took a couple of breaks to exercise it (I've had problems with my left arm for a year or two now).
We need a better way to handle idiots like these, the detector just isn't picking them up even when messages get closed.

Can we not list them with a direct clickable "report link" something like:

It does not solve my Problem, but it answers my question

Don't know - I just tried that on the latest guy:

and all it did that I can see was take me to the homepage.
Plus it's complicated to set up for each spammer as well.
