Didn't you know? Active hours only apply when you are actively using the computer. If you take a break to be physically active then you certainly obviously don't need your computer. 
In all seriousness, I believe it will ignore the "Active Hours" setting if the updates require a restart to complete and the system is idle an arbitrarily decided number of hours.
Bit old but might still work... Active Hours doesn't work for Windows Update[^]

Reading the Cloak Games series at the moment.
Some kind of modern fantasy.
I am quite pleased, best book from Jonathan Moller I have read so far. Good enough to recommend! 
A quick summary: Earth has been conquered by otherworldly elves 300 years ago.
The main protagonist is working as a secret Wizard/Thief for one of our elven overlord and she hates it, but has little choice in the matter.
Interesting plot twists, travels across the multiverse and character stories.
And an easy read too, I think I read as much as 7 books in 5 days, weekend included.
It's not game of thrones good mind you. But it's the best Jonathan Moller I have read so far!
Speaking of Games of Thrones, for people curious about George RR Martin I recommend Tuf Voyaging great scifi by George RR Martin, and a much quicker read than Games of Thrones.

They are still good fun.
But they are too much like Star Wars for me to recommend.
As in, there are evil forces. And they are so strong and so very evil.
And then poor and weak hero battling as well as one could. But evil is so tempting and strong. And evil. But the hero doesn't fall for it and triumph. meh.
However, they are still good fun and I did devour an entire such serie last week.
And hey, lots of people love Star Wars, despite the stupid morality.
And also, each Demonsouled book was like less than hour to read. Too short.

I always think that the whole Star Wars thing gets way too much credit based on the first two movies:
1st film - brilliant revival of old-time Saturday morning cinema, good simple Flash Gordon/Buck Rogers stuff that did everything it said on the tin. Great no-brainer space adventure movie that was a breath of fresh air back then and still holds up well today.
2nd film - puts a bit more flesh on the bones and it's still edge of the seat stuff - possibly even better than the first one.
3rd file - hang on, isn't this exactly the same plot as the first one but with teddy bears? Oh well, we'll forgive it because the first two were so good.
Prequel 1 - wake me up when it's over.
Prequel 2 - a painful and forgettable exercise in green-screening actors to death.
Prequel 3 - a bit more like the old ones but haven't we seen this plot before?
And I still remember Lucas being asked in a radio interview back in the day why it started at part 4 - his answer? Nothing interesting happens in parts 1-3.
Sequel 1 - hold on lads, I think I've got an idea, what if the Empire had built some kind of death star but it had a fatal defensive flaw? This is real out of the box stuff, no-one's ever thought of this before ...
And let's not forget the spectacularly pointless retouches of the first 3.

You can pick up the Inheritance cycle[^] next.
Some inspiration from the LOTR series is evident (and I can say that for most of the fantasy fictions I've read) but the author explores other facets of such imagined worlds which were not in the LOTR.
I'm bound to recommend it.

Is this another of those story where the hero(es?) fight really really (really) evil thing?
In general any fantasy / drama where the antagonist is the antagonist simply because he is evil incarnate, bent on destroying everything... well I am addicted to fantasy so I will still read it. But I will think little of it.... It even bores me sometimes....

Is there anyone else who knows full well that Outcast[^] is the best one ever?
I've got the remake, as well (which costs more than 6x the price), but it's actually not as good, and is an absolute PITA to play with a joypad (you still have to use the keyboard to do a few odd things -- like shoot!)
Keep looking for sticks in the mud! There are over 300!

Well, I love playing Insurgency and recommend it to anyone who wants an ultra-realistic multi-player combat FPS. Highly addictive, highly PTSD causing too.
