I am posting this message from Chromium browser on Ubuntu 16. The layout of code blocks looks just the same as on Windows. There must be something specific to your setup that is causing it.

Yeah, this is a painful one because we don't control the content so we need the browser to break at all costs. It should break sensibly, but I may have cranked the "break at all costs" up to 11 in order to ensure no really bad overflows occur. Imagine a really long method call being part of that synopsis. It gets ugly.
Which browser are you using?

FF Quantum 64.0 (32bit) on Win7. Also occurs on Chrome 70.0.3538.110 (Official Build) (32-bit)
I'll try on my Ubuntu box when I get out of bed, and edit this with the results.
[edit] Ubuntu 16.4LTS. ChromIUM 71.0.3578.80 (official build, 64 bit) and FF 64.0(64b) both show the same issue. [/edit]

My account is ZurdoDev. I'm usually logged in so I tried to respond to something in the Lounge and got a message that Anonymous posting was not allowed. I clicked the Sign-in link up top, my browser already had my info saved so I clicked login and somehow got logged in as rizwan muhammed khan gouri.

I just signed out, clicked signed in again and now it is working.

This was reported once before and after that report we added about 3 layers of checks to ensure it could not happen again. It's frustrating to hear this happened again, especially when the code is so locked down now.
One quick question: You say you "signed out". Did you close the browser and reopen, or click the "sign out' link?

Please describe the problem. 'Broken' doesn't help me diagnose the issue, especially since I don't have a Mac where I am right now.

I can vote on it, but not approve / reject / report, but I have the rest of the approval moderation box.
I'm logged in, and neither F5 nor CTRL+F5 refresh clear it up.

Looks like it's approved. Not sure what happened there but I see an error in the logs regarding the pending version so I'll dig in and see what happened.

When editing messages... (e.g. "gone" or "still alive" in S&A)
if I edit the subject of the first message of a thread and I hit "Enter" being in the subject then the edition is posted.
if I edit subject a message within the thread and hit "Enter" being in the subject, nothing happens. To post I have to click or get the focus to "post message" using tab.

If I go to QA, the "newest" question is about 8 hours old:
But ... the homepage shows much newer stuff:
The top homepage post is 5 minutes old:
And the oldest around 40 minutes.
Normally, it's the other way round, the homepage lags QA, and never by 8 hours!

Yes - that was it: it invented a filter set for me and applied it.
Chris, I've never set a QA filter - I'd be too tempted to set "no idiots" - so the "positive" filter selection was added for me.

I am regularly logged in on two computers. On this one (Ubuntu 16.04LTS, FF 63.0.3 if it matters) the QA filter boxes are randomly (afaict) populated from time to time. I was about to report current QA items disappearing, but they were just being filtered... I do not recall ever setting QA filters. This has occured 2 or 3 times in the last few days.
