I use Logitech M187s. I have had several over the years. (I currently have 3 operational, one more yet to be unpackaged.) I mouse with fingertips, forearm and heel of the hand resting on the desk. The M187 is small and light, ideal for fingertip use. Also compact enough to use on a thigh, armrest, whatever, when on the move.

I'm having the predecessor of the anywhere in my laptop bag. It's useful for bringing along, but it's to small for me for daily use.
At home I'm having the Marathon mouse, it's good enough for most usage, and the batteries lasts for years (really).
If I would go up in price I would go for the MX Vertical since it's better ergonomically.
At work I'm having a Contour RollerMouse Pro2, to save my shoulders. It really works, but takes quite a while getting used to.

 I can't use either, I'm left handed and use a right handed mouse, been doing that for 30 years, too old to change to a custom/unusual configuration.

Of those two, probably the "anywhere". Though, honestly, I'm more in the neither camp as well.
For me, simplest is best / most comfortable. Currently, using a Logitech M310. At first, wasn't a fan of its curved inward palm, but grew to like it.
My recommendation, when you find one you like, get at least one extra. You'll thank yourself when it eventually wears out.
First, you'll have a ready replacement (no waiting).
Second, both mice and keyboards seem to be a lot like fashion, form is secondary and they change every season. Until I finally took my own advice, I had to periodically hunt for functional mice/keyboards (a few times) amongst the ocean of crap they put out.

Both are really the same except the Master has more functions and a bit bigger. If your hand is bigger than average, the master would be good choice, otherwise the Anywhere works better. I have both and I preferred the Anywhere.

Quick scroll is great (anywhere looks to have it as well) - scan through files, or VS solution explorere, or document specs instead of
Just now found thumb scroll works in google docs as up/down scrolling. But not in normal web pages.
Thumb scroll helpful if have (questionable) wide code (omg over 80 characters on a line)
Not gotten round to configuring thumb buttons for coding. Used to old habits.
smooth (silent scroll) switch to click scroll (both have it looks)
battery life strong - weeks. and can usb wire, but dont know if connection running over that.
Multiple devices? quick button switching, assuming other devices have Bluetooth.

Hi,
I Deal with many XP Computers which are not connected to the Internet at all. Does anyone know how to download Open Office to an installation CD or USB Memory pen for distribution to these computers?

Edit: Oops, realised lo wont grok XP, anyhoo...
I heard OO had been half dead for a while, adobe made some noises recently but not much happened.
Have you considered libreoffice? At least among linuxers libre's considered better.
I use it myself for light work on both linuk and miserable windors and does what I need.
(I'll admit as LO worked fine out of the box so I never got round to ever trying OO.)
- apart from the interface so far never seen any difference rendering or printing any doc/sheet created or received from elsewhere between lo & ms.
There's a full install and portable versions, easily fit both on a USB stick so either way you're covered at other sites.
Note: also threw ms interop out in favor of EPPlus - methods/info very much like ms office interop except 10000 X faster, again all results work, look & print same in both lo and miserable.

Since Oracle (and even it passed it over to Apache), OpenOffice gone into a very slow development cycle (no version since December 2017)... You should go with LibreOffice (a fork actively maintained)...
You can download a msi installer and put in on USB to pass around...

For the purpose of my clients, we are interested only in something that works! Something that is Old and Proven! The fact that Open Office has not been updated recently counts as a Plus for us!

That's not even the gold plated version either.
I was talking to guy at work about this just a little while ago. This is likely the result of Amazon's automatic pricing. He has seen it do weird things to prices of the books he used to sell. He really likes this example. I once saw a calendar that I buy every year for less than $20 priced at $190.
