Of those two, probably the "anywhere". Though, honestly, I'm more in the neither camp as well.

For me, simplest is best / most comfortable. Currently, using a Logitech M310. At first, wasn't a fan of its curved inward palm, but grew to like it.

My recommendation, when you find one you like, get at least one extra. You'll thank yourself when it eventually wears out.

First, you'll have a ready replacement (no waiting).

Second, both mice and keyboards seem to be a lot like fashion, form is secondary and they change every season. Until I finally took my own advice, I had to periodically hunt for functional mice/keyboards (a few times) amongst the ocean of crap they put out.
