First of all... I am going to answer you here to all your 3 messages, because I am starting to get tired of different threads since I was the only one actually speaking with you

Secondly... this is the last message I am going to write you. Mostly due to the reason that Richard mentions below.
Rick_Bishop wrote:
Imagine yourself having spent a over a year developing this idea to post the
I don't have to imagine anything. I am over 12 years here and I have had and still have ideas that are not published / written yet.
Rick_Bishop wrote:
It sucks not having this all in one place in Microsoft docs.
Yes, I give you that. MSDN can be sometimes a PITA.
Rick_Bishop wrote:
Finally, after making all of that happen and looking good
For the format of your blog, not the CP-Standards.
Rick_Bishop wrote:
I see that virtually no one has seen my blog since I started it.
That's one of the reasons why I don't write a blog
Rick_Bishop wrote:
I see that CodeProject has a way to import my feed, but if I do that, is my website going to be penalized for having duplicate content, since the content that shows up on CodeProject is certainly going to be indexed before mine?
Penalized how? having 5 instead of 7 views a week?
Rick_Bishop wrote:
So I bite the bullet and try to get one article published, not really knowing if it will work or how CodeProject will be able to parse the code snippets in my article without downloading the js and css files that go along with it. I decided to give it a try.
Yes... that's a valid doubt.
Rick_Bishop wrote:
After all of the work that was done to get the blog ready to be posted on CodeProject and finally adding the blog on CodeProject,
As it looks... the work was not enough or not good because you didn't "get the blog ready to be posted on codeproject". If you had, then you wouldn't have had these problems.
Did you ever read the Code Project FAQs/[^]?
There are several entries about blogs:

1. Multiple people are publicly calling me a cheater.
As I said, due to the missing references, yes, you looked like a cheater. Sadly, Code Project has A DAMN BIG amount of real cheaters, that's why we (the community) try to keep the site clean.
Rick_Bishop wrote:
Like I just copied stuff off of some dude's website
Ironically... you might have referenced it in your blog... nice and good, but the fact is: YOU DID COPY CONTENT. Over the half of the content is not your original content. Heck in a couple of them more than 80% is copied. Only because you are the first one thinking on "having this all in one place" it doesn't make the content to magically be YOUR content.
Rick_Bishop wrote:
And this is happening on a website that my coworkers and boss are on and my future coworkers and boss might be on as well.
1) That's the same risk that everyone of us have, not only in Codeproject, but in the whole internet.
2) And exactly for this reason you should have paid a lot more attention to what you do

Rick_Bishop wrote:
Yes, there isn't enough content in some of my snippets, after you take out the reference info. That's valid.
At least, you recognise it.
Rick_Bishop wrote:
I didn't write it to make it wordy, I posted it to hopefully be useful.
Good intentions are fine, but don't justify everything.

Rick_Bishop wrote:
In setting my RSS feed up for CodeProject, I'm basically submitting all of my work...
yes. it might be your work, but it is not YOUR CONTENT

change of message

Rick_Bishop wrote:
The reason I mention this here is threefold. First, you are acting as a representative of CodeProject in this interaction. Second, you have had opportunity to describe my work and I am taking this opportunity to do the same. Third, in the event that you are a reasonable human being, I might enlighten you as to the nature of the project you've spent so much time publicly tearing apart.

1) I repeat... I am just a particular person part of the users community, I don't work for codeproject nor am I officially representing it.
2) I have no idea what you try to tell me in that sentence, sorry. But reached this point, I don't even care anymore. As I said, this is the last message I am going to write you.
3a) If I were not reasonable, I wouldn't have writen you as I did, trying to explain you things that should be obvious if you were an habitual of the site. Or I wouldn't have writen you this message after your insults and lack of respect you showed.
3b) However I did check your blog (3 of the 7 visits for this week are mine) and saw that you had indeed posted the links, and tried to explain you publicy as well (because that's how the site works, publicy) what the situation is, why it has gone so "bad", tried to give you a couple of advices so we can repair it or writen this huge mesage to explain you the other side of the history.

Sad is... you and your behaviour have killed the "helping" part of me for this topic.

Good bye and have a nice day.

If something has a solution... Why do we have to worry about?. If it has no solution... For what reason do we have to worry about?
Help me to understand what I'm saying, and I'll explain it better to you
Rating helpful answers is nice, but saying thanks can be even nicer.
