Have you ever seen a real bug report? 
Imagine a million developers reporting bugs like "The wibbly-thingamajig sometimes wobbles, with no obvious pattern; fix it now!!!1!". How much time will you spend "investigating" each report?
Sure, you might send a canned response asking for more information and a minimal reproduction of the problem. But 90% of the users won't bother responding; and of those that do, another 5% won't provide any of the information you asked for.
And then, when you close 95% of the tickets as "can't reproduce", the developers who submitted the reports will start claiming that you're "too lazy" to fix the problem, or suggesting that you're "incompetent".
TLDR: If you want a bug fixed, submit the kind of bug report you'd like to receive on one of your own products.

Of course you CANNOT expect "professional" report from a casual user! But it's your responsibility to create proper window/dialog to fetch necessary info. And under investigation I mean attentive dialog with user to discover all details. Most lazy monkeys in support DO NOT do it, skipping report as "unreproduceable". I never believe user was so care to make report, but decline to provide other details!
A lot of programs suffer from the same idiotically stupid function: error reporting. Instead of doing that in one click, they just make link in "Help" menu, which leads to... "please register on our site to report a problem"!!! F**! I wanna kill every moron who makes such "reporting engine"! Stupid a$$$h*** specially follow hard way to reduce bug reports. Every "register" step is a reason to stop that sh***ty procedure at all.
User is the same as he born, you cannot blame him. If you cannot get proper info, it's your fault. Got too stupid reports? Think what YOU didn't do to make 'em better.

What are you actually trying to achieve?
What do you mean by "handling"? Reading? Writing? Archive? Something else?
I use Android and PC, and I will read and write emails on both - but mostly I use PC because can set rules in Live Mail / Outlook which help me to organise things better. For example, I have a rule which immediately deletes all emails from a .RU domain (After I got a flood of spam about ten or fifteen years ago). I also have a rule which deletes anything from SAK so I don't get wound up by "my answer is much better, you should see that" messages. I can divert customer emails to one inbox, and CP ones to another. I haven't found a way to do that with Android email apps.
It also means that only one PC package removes emails from the server - the others just view them - so that I have a master copy which I can archive regularly and which gets backed up.
Bad command or file name. Bad, bad command! Sit! Stay! Staaaay...

It's that five percent where the guy is actually willing to contact me like a real human and speak to me (i.e., two living speaking humans in a spoken voice conversation) which I want to be able to respond via E-Mail promptly.

What I'm doing is using RoundCube on my host.
My spam control uses a specific E-Mail address for a specific company; e.g.,,,,
- Electric-Utility-01@MyDomain.com
- Water-Utility-01@MyDomain.com
- Cellphone-01@MyDomain.com
- CarPayment@MyDomain.com
Each of those is actually a forwarder to another mailbox.
Roundcube has a neat feature that will place that E-Mail address in the "From:" field should I ever need to respond to them.
That's what I would like to emulate on my Android

If you are on those who have hundreds of folders and rules set up on the mail, GMail app (which I use for multiple mail accounts) might appear lesser on features to you. It will also be tough to navigate.
Don't fall for Inbox by Google. I find it dreadful. It tries to figure out mail contents and arranges them in some weird way which I, for one, just could not understand.

I don't know if you would like GMail app then. There are other apps you can of course use. MS apps for android (including their launcher) are really nice if you want to give it a go.

straight forward, just follow the prompts - check your original PC setup instructions on the server name details.
Decide if you want to also read email on a PC (IMAP) or on the phone only (POP - so you don't blow your quota.)

Yup I corrected the mistake: I don't do email on the phone any more. Tiny text, old eyes ....
(for the rare occasion I'm checking for something important web mail suffices.)

I used to have my personal account (own my own domain email etc....) go into my gmail account and just use the gmail app on the android phone. Worked awesomely. Had it remove messages from the server and stay in Gmail. Just went to the mail.google.com site or opened gmail on the phone everything stayed sync'd. It just works.
About 3 months ago decide I wanted to try divorcing myself and my domain slowly away from google. Still keep my gmail account. but wanted my domain to be itself. so setup a new mail client on phone to get emails. I can respond from there. Also, on my laptop I have the thunderbird email client and that is the primary place I respond to emails from. Organize them there. Put in folders setup responses etc.....
So I can respond from my phone if I need to. Or I can wait and do a more thoughtful response from my computer later. IT works.
Big #1 draw back to current setup. Calendar integration. I have yet to find a decent calendar that will put it on my phone(where it has to be. I run off my phones calendar) and I can deal with the events and stuff from my laptop in the email client and it integrates. So Gmail is a much better suggestion for things like that.

It is 10:51 am. I'm waiting for Visual Studio to install an upgrade so I got up to look out the window. Below there are couple of crap-apple trees in full blossom. The little white flower petals and leaves are vibrating against the wind. As each wind gust push against the tree, it sheds more of the petals and they fall to the pavement like snowflakes blanketing the road below. As the wind blow on them, they create several small whirlwind and as the cars drove by causing them to spawn several more. I think to myself, everything works as they are without any consciousness acting on them because evolution programmed them that way long ago and evolution still programming them tirelessly, days after days, years after years and millennia after millennia . Nature is perfect in every way that we are trying to copy from, but it is not yet finished with what it is trying to do. But it is doing for the mere of just keep doing, no purpose, no reward, no glory and most of all no conscious and yet it does it so well.
As I watched the cycle each year, it expenses so much energy to produce millions little petals only to shed them all off in only couple of days later. It is putting all this effort in the hope of just a chance of producing a single offspring. It will be all worth it for a chance to have its genetic carried over to the next generation. I wondered to myself as all life have the same purpose. As we go our through life walking zombie every day not realized what our purpose really is. Perhaps there is no purpose at all. Perhaps that is what the universe is all about; it is made from nothing and so it will ends with nothingness. And all things happen in between have no meaning, except that we live for the sake of living and we care for the current existence.
