In 24 years of Windows use I never, ever installed a third party screensaver. Mostly because my screen was always in use and also beacuse of the first malware that spread its way through dubious screensavers and desktop wallpapers.

That one was of course my favourite. I miss it. It's actually possible to set it up to run on current windows versions, but the resolution leaves a lot to be desired nowadays...

Absolutely. Without Internet (Italy started having something resembling Internet after 1997 and it wasn't very widespread) those shady floppies with (usually pr0n) games, screensavers and so on travelled dozens of miles between one PC and the other.

I always wanted any aliens that were discovered by my computer to be named after me and then using a radio telescope to inform them of this. They never replied. Perhaps they are afraid to start an interstellar war.

I do not recall any screensaver on the 3270 or on the Unix (I can't even remember what version), and on Win 3, I remember some pipes...

I've always loved the winter, snow and cold.
But as I get older, I find that it's changing. My tolerance for cold seems to be diminishing.
Don't know how it is in the rest of the world, but here in Sweden, the winter has definitely outstayed its welcome.
