Off with his balls I say. You could try walking around his cage smacking 2 bricks together but I have an appointment with the vet ASAP.
You could try the old lemon/citrus spay thing but I'm betting the little sod will simply lick it off and keep howling.

Dogs have personality just as we humans.
And it seems you have opened up your home to a chav.
Both German Sheperds and Rottweilers can be quite noisy dogs.
In both cases it comes from their bred purpose.
In this case it's probably the Rottweiler genes that's shining through most.
They tend to be quite guarding of their home, and every little noise can turn them into a barking machine if that is how they are bent.
Good luck with the bricks, but I have some doubts it will help.

Sound like the problem is the owner and not the dog. You've got a young dog with no training. Why not try treating your dog just as you do your wife and girls. Of course, this assumes you are not giving your wife and girls a "good slap" any time they don't respond on command.
As your wife and girls wanted the dog, send all of them to a dog obedience school.
In the future, don't take on responsibilities that you are not prepared to shoulder, especially when it come to animals. They are not trinkets to be tossed in the garbage bin just because you don't know how to care for them.

I find that a bit harsh, it sounds like he is taking the responsibility and is whining about the cost (in sleep) but still doing the right thing by the dog. He REMOVED the dog from the garbage not abandoned it there and then shipped it to another country with his family.
I agree with you about people who abandon pets but I don't see that happening here.

Ditching a young dog because you don't care to train it warrants the response. Here is a different take on the issue to put it in perspective. Imagine if all parents ditched their newborns because they cried at night and the parents were not getting any sleep....

I agree with you there however where did you get the idea Nagy is ditching the dog. Ah I see you took the title seriously, two things, I read the title as a joke and the body of the message seems to bear that out.
Secondly "to a good home" is not ditching the dog it would be doing the responsible thing if the dogs behavour became manageable, if the title was not a JOKE.

Yes, you're more than welcome to keep "History is the joke the living play on the dead". Without going into details (I certainly don't want to go down any rabbit holes) I appreciate there's always 3 sides to every story. As to where the story gets debated? There's always an appropriate time and place. It's just a matter of choosing them both wisely.

Hi All,
My parents had an 'upgrade' done by BT changing the copper to fibre. Guess what, it didn't work. So I spent a most of saturday fighting with it. BT won't do anything as there is a good signal to the property. Before the upgrade everything was good Win10 PC on the network, Ubuntu/Redhat XP pc & My phone when I was there. Bloomin' upgrade only my phone can see it. As my phone can see it BT want me to take my PC to an expert (like PC World) to get the network working again.  It was working the connecting is rocky at best, you have sent my parents a faulty Hub the first time this upgrade was tried that blocked the telephone line. The replacement has the batch code (possible manufacturing boob?) and my parents have to pay BT Open Reach to come and set up the network...
The rage is boiling up I feel the need to kick something!

Once the rage subsided, that was very funny. Yes I did, what I love is the fact you can get conflicting advice from the elves on the help desk, split the signal, don't split the signal. The best one is "can you hook up using an ethernet cabel?", reply "No I can't", reply "It's easy use the yellow wire in the box and plug it into the laptops port", reply "I can't, I'm using a desktop tower machine", reply "well pick it up and carry it to the hub or carry the hub to the desktop", reply "I can't they are in seperate rooms" & the crowing reply "well if you are not able to carry your laptop to the hub..." reply "IT IS NOT A LAPTOP", reply "Well use your tablet" reply "I Have not got a tablet" reply "How are you thinking of connecting to the internet" put the phone down and find a small dog to kick to low earth orbit...

Are all the devices connecting via WiFi? If so, I bet that only the 5GHz WiFi is enabled on the router and your phone is the only devices that is 5GHz capable, therefore nothing else will connect.
Had the same problem with a customer and his brand new top of the line Telstra 4G hot spot (Netgear Nighthawk?). Only 5GHz enabled on the WiFi, all his devices 2.4Ghz, once I logged in to the router and turned on 2.4GHz all was good in the world again.
