One of my favorite styles of music - impressionism. Bolero and Ravel are personal favorites.

Via Google Anal-lytics:
Last week, two website hits in close proximity to "\" - ISP in Russia*
Many more overseas hits, far beyond normal, that day.
A constant dribble of more overseas hits from unexpected locations
Today, from Donetsk (Russian Occupied Ukraine)
So - now I am waiting - watching - waiting -
<EDIT>
Entire website has been, and always is, backed up in several locations.
</EDIT>
* I checked the Whois of the previous site before mine: source site, also Russian

Really depends on what "many more" means but any public facing site should expect site hacking attempts.
Actually if there was no such traffic then that might suggest that the monitoring had somehow been subverted.

I'd be more concerned with what customer information might exist on systems associated with your public-facing presence.

None - public facing or back-end - to be stolen.
It's an informational site and all the information is posted for all to see.
Nothing of value.

Does anybody else find the new Firefox busy indicator annoying?
It reminds me of the KITT Knight Rider car with the scanning back and forth.
Yes, I am dating myself with that reference. If you have no idea what Knight Rider is, then move along nothing to see here.

I used to watch that too! Great show.

No - it really wasn't. It was great if you were 12 but looking back on it (I caught an episode on late night tv somewhere a while back) it was terrible.
I'm pretty sure I would not like to live in a world in which I would never be offended.
I am absolutely certain I don't want to live in a world in which you would never be offended.

It is a little odd, but at least it is low-profile.
They should probably use some blink text instead.
It is interesting that we are all so used to rotating circles now. (Chrome and Edge)

Any true fan would know that KITT was preceded by KARR.
And producer Glen Larson (aka Glen Larceny) used his failed Automan series as a basis for KR

And here I thought the new FireFox was fast enough to not have to display a busy indicator!!
I'd rather be phishing!

Yes.
I actually rely on that to refresh certain screens and it less visible than the prior version.

I noticed something curious today - Visual Studio's updater does something very similar except it varies the spacing between the dots which makes it a little more interesting.

I find a lot of things about the new Firefox annoying, not the least of which is not having all my bookmarks available in the dropdown. Now they only show me the most recently used bookmarks. Forces me to use up window space by opening them in the sidebar.
If you think 'goto' is evil, try writing an Assembly program without JMP.

Why is there no survey today?
1) They ran out of questions.
2) They are full of Thanksgiving turkey and are sleeping the week away.
3) They just don't care what we think anymore.
4) None of the above.
Sorry, no reputation points will be earned for responding to this survey.
