I was scrambling to find disk imaging software night before last to clone my wife's drive (from new laptop) onto her old 120GB SSD.
I forgot that she had the old Kingston Xtreme SSD -- not the Samsung that comes with cloning software.
I stumbled upon the Marcrium site and got it working in mere minutes. I was very happy. 
EDIT
When I was originally researching and googled, I first got led to Acronis for the Kingston drive but my older SSD (serial number) wasn't supported for a free version.

One tip regarding Macrium's Reflect: Make separate bootable recovery media for each machine where you intend to use it. This way you ensure all critical drivers for that machine are included in the bootable recovery software.

I have used the free edition of Macrium's Reflect, and that only, for years! Never had an issue with it on any of 4 machines in our household. I LOVE this product!

I had Acronis for a while, but I got tired of the constant whining from it to buy an update.
I'll give another vote for Macrium Reflect, the free version. It took me less than ten minutes to set up my preferred backup scheme: weekly full image plus nightly incremental.

Aomei, as recommended by OriginalGriff, works fine for me. It got upset about using a network shared drive once but I just removed the entry and re-entered it and now it works fine.
I must admit the Icons, etc. are a bit... huge!

I had to revert back to Acronis version from 2013 for it to be of any use to me....well I say that, this morning turned on my computer and got an Acronis error and system wouldn't boot.
Guess I'm going to have bite the bullet and go with another brand. About 2 years ago I did the research and almost ordered another backup utility that was highly recommended but it was/is $100.
Someone's therapist knows all about you!

Ah! You need the machine that goes "Ping!", that's your problem. You can lease one back from the company you sold it to; that way it comes under the monthly current budget and not the capital account.

My wife just got a new iPhone 7, and it makes a "ping" sound when she gets an alert. So of course I couldn't help but say "I see that you have the machine that goes ping...".

I believe ping is disabled by default on Debian et al. That, and you may need to configure your router to open the port. ping uses.

Welcome to Agile. Too bad we are agile enough to dodge the daily standup. There is a collective cheer any time it gets cancelled. Why do we have to announce when nothing is "blocking" us? Wouldn't it be more Agile to only mention it if there WAS something impeding your progress.

What and take away a manger opportunity to micro manage what you do.
We have 3 of these a week and some last an hour or more (3 dev, 1 BA, 1 other) I don't think they have the right idea about stand ups.
