Just wondering, I just published an article Helper Class for Async[^] but saw no points awarded for the publication. Seems like I should have gotten 100 points.

I went to the trouble to update a solution that is a few years old (Using native LogonUser code in advapi32.dll gives unsatisfiedLink error[^]) as a way of giving back because the existing solution was helpful but unusable in its existing form as it was very much out of date. Then I get an email saying that my solution "has been reported by Dave Kreskowiak, Graeme_Grant, Kats2512 and has been closed, with the reason being given as Content has been posted that is spam." There was nothing about the solution that was spam, it was one sentence and a code block. I'm perplexed and a little miffed.

Swagger Integration in ASP.NET Web API Project[^]
There are two duplicated paragraphs under the "Swagger Configuration" section: "Now, when we start ..." and "And if we want to ...".
There's also a code block posted as an image, which would be better as a proper code block.
I posted this as a suggestion on the published tip, with the text version of the code. But my message seems to have disappeared, even though it wasn't on a specific version:

If you want to gain his attention, you can use his @SAKryukov tag (everyone here has one, look in profile to find which).
This way he will get a "You have been mentioned in a conversation" and a link to the message.

It was a message for you, but perhaps, because of mistaken copy/paste operation, I could use incorrect addressing ("your idea" instead of "his idea", something like that.)
We have some mess here: probably, all our comments disappeared in new edition of this article. I wrote you because you commented on the article and referenced my article. (Thank you for that and your last message.) I found a convincing argument to dismiss the whole idea of the author. It simply makes things much worse. Did you read my post about it?

This time, I did not report anything. I just wrote a negative feedback in the mentioned article, without voting, but it dismisses the whole thing. All our comments disappeared, by some reason, I wrote new comment, but it could be one of the reasons for confusion and Mikes message to me...

Hi Guys,
I've created an article, with images, using the CP editor and have noticed that images are not loading after publishing - appear broken.  I've gone back in and can see them there.

Any thoughts on why this is happening? 
[EDIT]: Comparing the original to the published version, it appears that whilst the "/working" folder reference was removed, only the download file was published and not the images. Is it possible for anyone to push the images into "published" mode?

You need to ensure you reference images using just the image name, eg "EtsyCategory.jpg instead of "https://www.codeproject.com/KB/XML/1201466/EtsyCategory.jpg". Our system may need to move images around, so hardcoding the full path will mess things up.
All fixed.

I drag and drop the images across from the RHS into the article editor. I currently have an update that I am working on, so I will make sure the update is done this way...

There's a little "insert image" button next to each image in the file list that will insert the image for you.

You don't. There is no obligation on people actually leaving a comment. They can if they want, but there's nothing saying that they have to tell you why they didn't like it.

This is one of the problems with voting down on CodeProject. There were some golden days, when you had to leave a comment for voting 2, or lower.
I was happy with system when a legend status guy can downvote, because he knows what he is doing and it was not due to some personal opinion. Everyone else, had to mention and openly state the why. But now, it is a stupid permission, anyone can come and vote. I don't know why this is even allowed.

You do not and you should not. Instead, try living up with the pain of a downvote, and consider writing better posts in the future. I can help you out with some good practices to write an article here on CodeProject.
We all get downvoted, eventually. But there is nothing to do or bother asking, it is their right to do. What I do have a problem with here is, why every beginner gets to vote on articles. In my own experience, I have faced more than 10 times where I was voted down due to a personal quarrel that I had, which must not be endorsed here — and this allowance endorses such a behavior, indirectly.

Suppose there's an obligation to leave a comment. What's to stop it being complete gibberish?
The thing about the comment/vote idea is that it fostered a n ethos of revenge downvoting where authors felt that they had been "dissed". To get around this, people created dummy accounts to vote. It was a complete mess. What value does "asddggdgd" bring as a comment? If someone downvotes without leaving a comment, then just ignore it.
