It's a good thing that crimes of Lèse-majesté are rarely (if ever) prosecuted in The United Kingdom, or your next visit to London would end with a very short tour of the Tower!

If they persist in using French to name the crime then the "justice" system is rightly hiding in shame rather than prosecute it.

Maybe it's called "profiling", but installing anti-virus software with a Russian name is not something I was willing to do. And maybe it's called "being ignorant" if I think that any other anti-virus software doesn't share the potential for doing wrong as well.
I guess a new era is dawning (or maybe it's already noon) -- can you trust your anti-virus software?

I don't use any A-V software. I surf nekked. 
I use a heavily customized HOSTS file that filters out every ad server and nefarious site I run across. The default file is less than 1KB and mine is over 600KB now. So far, I have received exactly one virus and it was my fault. It was transmitted by the old MSN-IM and I accepted a file transfer from "a friend" but it was actually the virus. I was able to defeat it myself and wrote about that experience here many years and hundreds of messages ago.

I use the HOST file from MVPS as-is in combination with an always-updated version of Defender. Every now and then I do a manual scan with Malwarebytes.
This combination works for me.
