Sigh | :sigh:

At 120/10 I'm around the effective downstream max of my ISPs 4/1 channel DOCSIS 3.0 infrastructure (theoretical is 152; but that assumes a perfect SNR and no glitches; and my cable co has never offered headline speeds that aren't real world achievable). Unfortunately that means I can't expect to get anything faster unless they make a major infrastructure upgrade; and the best they offer isn't fast enough. Why last night I had to wait a full 10 minutes for a major game patch to download before I could start playing. Mad | Cry | :(( D'Oh! | Shucks | :-\
Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, waging all things in the balance of reason?
Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful?

Training a telescope on one’s own belly button will only reveal lint. You like that? You go right on staring at it. I prefer looking at galaxies.
