OK so yea, there was also a forum post for this in Press Releases and I see a little thing that says "Press Releases" at the top of the message in the upper left corner. Does everyone see the forum location or is it admin only?
Obviously this one doesn't count as a Press Release I want people to push through. We don't need USA tax and payroll updates. Removed.

Just a thought ... is it time to update Chris' sticky message at the top of the forum with things like "Don't report Press Releases", "Don't delete spam, just report it" and stuff of that ilk?

Boy you guys are quick. Moving forward, I'd ask you not report accounts of people posting Press Releases. 9/10 it's someone just posting a bad Press Release. In those cases I will contact the company and give them a lesson about Press Releases.
A lot of Press Releases in general need improvement, so it's going to be a process. I've been keeping the real bad stuff out since before the message moderation, and I'll continue to keep an eye on it. I get notified of every post in there, so from now on (even though it will be painful) please just pass Press Releases through.

Perhaps we need a marker in the moderation queue to indicate which forum it's in?
I know we get a link in the case of a reply (but I can't remember if we get a forum link for new threads) but a forum name would help with things like that.

It suspect they are the same person - and I only see the one link to the company site, which is probably unintentional spam.
I've mentioned it to him and hopefully he'll remove it.
It'll be easier to moderate once the formatting is fixed!

I'd say you are right: the profile name is YevheniiaTod and a quick google shows her working for the company: Yevheniia Tod - Product Menager – Designer News[^]
I'd say it's reasonably legit, provided she drops the link and formats the article.

It's was a single response and hardly very offensive at all, in my opinion. Either ignore it or respond with a comment about politeness but kicking a first time user off the site for such a small thing sends the wrong message.
