I'm glad your tourist dollars will eventually make it back to the country's wonderful government, who treat it's people so well.

It could be worse.
I'm told the people are nice and they welcome everyone.
And they get free health care.
I know some super powers who aren't as friendly (anymore)

You are about 7 years late on this one.

There are only 10 types of people in the world, those who understand binary and those who don't.

... and GCC is still compiling.
At least it is getting close to completion. My old Sony Vaio Laptop took about 28 hours to compile it, while my current machine takes about 4-5 hours, depending on what else I have running. I have been away for most of this (helping my mom with errands, she has difficultly moving on certain days), so it was the only thing running for about 2.75 hours.
And yes, the Vaio took more than one day to compile. Crazy, isn't it?

Are you talking about Linux kernel?

Nope. Compiling GCC / MinGW-w64 for use on Windows.
And it hit an error just now, stating it can't find a library it quite literally just freaking compiled.

Lucky you're doing the "minimalist" one, or you'd leave it as an inheritance for your grandchildren

Forgot to update the path eh?

I use a bootstrap compiler in a folder that isn't in the library load path, causing this error, as it can't find the library in it 'known' path. I just forgot to copy the library to somewhere in that path (I haven't done this in a while).

I've been a member of CodeProject for a while and it has become a morning ritual for me to peruse the forums for interesting conversations and to learn something new. Spam and Abuse Watch has become one of my favorite forums, because many read like mini crime dramas. I have read of hamsters taking head-shots and trolls forced back under their bridge. I, also, read justifications for not allowing spam to the copy-paste masters using their talents in blatant plagiarism.
I can hear the narrator from A Christmas Story spinning phrases like "The hamster grips his cold-steel beauty for the ultimate head-shot to another one of Black Bart's gang carrying a bag of bottled skin pills."
Keep up the great work guys. I love a good read.
