Let's see...

They have been hopping from one OS version to the next, every time quietly killing off some stuff and trying to shove us in the new 'one and only' way to go. The only exception was Win7. At that time I had the short lived hope that they finally got in touch with reality again. One of those little 'oooopses' cost me enough code to buy a new Lamborghini, and please not the plain slow base model. Forgive me when my excitement about the next grand new idea does not exactly reach fanoi level anymore.

Trying to imitate Apple also does not help. I'm not going to write any (cr)apps which are expected to cost nothing more than pennies, give them 30% of whatever I get, followed by the government who takes about 50% of the rest. Besides that, I refuse to give them any say in what I may publish and what not. Perhaps the law can come down on me for taking my liberties a little too far, but it's not Mickeysoft's, Apple's or anybody else's business.

And yes, there is also the little issue about the forced updates to Win10. When somebody comes along, installs unwanted stuff on my computer with the intent to draw some bucks out of my pocket, they will discover that they do that only twice with me. The only trust I invest into them after this little stunt is to expect them to become a little less subtle when they think they have sufficiently locked in their sheep.
The language is JavaScript. that of Mordor, which I will not utter here

This is Javascript. If you put big wheels and a racing stripe on a golf cart, it's still a f***ing golf cart.

"I don't know, extraterrestrial?"
"You mean like from space?"
"No, from Canada."

If software development were a circus, we would all be the clowns.
