I'm sure we're all guilty of not reading manuals. I have customers that force me to write a manual as part of the project deliverables, then phone me when they need help using the product

An they probably phone you before they look at the manual you have required you to write. I would suggest that if you have a number of users, send them out a questionnaire on their use of the manual...if they have even used them. You may be able to use the results to save yourself the effort. I did that when I was at AT&T. Nobody used the documentation, so management stopped having it as a deliverable.

It's not the tech, it's the management. And with good management, having good tech is usually not an issue.

Quite possibly - I've never seen GoT (I am that person).
In my mind she will always be the divine Mrs. Peel from The Avengers (the classic UK TV series rather than the Marvel thing). She was in a Bond movie, too - can't remember the name of it.

Open space sucks, sucks harder and sucks up to create total void and then more.
Open space surrounded by hotline operators and sales department is a whole new kind of hellish punishment. Probably in my past life I was a grindcore musician and now I have to suffer all the noise I created. I see no other explanation.
As a secondary gift: honest colleagues instead of cowardly poisonous carnivore weasels. Or a flamethrower and a 24 hours license to kill, in alternative.
