Is there a link to the original question on SO?
I find it very hard to believe that answer would receive 6 upvotes and moreso that the question has a score of 0...

Wow, that has surprised me. I cannot believe that answer didn't get a single downvote. It should have been crucified.
I guess the UNIX crowd are a bit more generous on SO...
Interesting though, if you check the answer edit history the 'teacher' removed the name "Daniel"... how did he know it was Daniel? Maybe he only gave the assignment to one student... or maybe... he faked the whole thing!

I would expect on Stack Overflow everyone jumping on the teacher's case for a post that does nothing to answer the question...etc. Typical SO nonsense.
Yeah, you'd think students would realize that google works both ways.

And you would be correct.
That's not an answer! I think the accepted answer to this question is quite good and doesn't answer the homework question directly. But of course he should try to brainstorm and figure out where to start.

Coding, coding and coding. I might get 5 minutes break fro some coding as well.
Now ask this question when I'm driving and it might be closer to axe murderer

Understood. But there's coding, then there's CODING. Some forms could be dangerous to others, not just yourself (the usual kind).

I suspect Nagy may be one of the very few modern Hungarians to carry the rare genetic Magyar markers that go back to their ancestral origins in the great steppes, and these mutations, related to adapting to intense alcohol use to survive the harsh weather on the steppes, may enable his tolerance for massive imbibation.

I suspect that if Nagy contains any Magyar genetic markers, we need to do some research on the usage of Gin and Pörkölt for genetherapy.
And in my limited experience, the local plum brandy would probably be a more likely culprit.

The name is pálinka... and the most famous flavors are szilva (plum) and barack (apricot)... and it has nothing to do with gin and bitterness... but of course Nagy drinks them all...

I read somewhere that Palinka compared to wine is like "a slap in the face."
Thailand offers some "Chinese medicinal whiskies" that are high-alcohol content, infused with herbs, and laced with better not to ask; in one shop here in Chiang Mai they have names like (translated into English on the shop menu) "Revive the Great Commander" ... I'll leave you to guess what that refers to. I tried a small shot of the brew that was supposed to be medicinal for everything from gout to schizopohrenia years ago, and it was pungent, strong-tasting, but not repulsive. A friend (expat from Europe) uses it for cough medicine, adding honey to it, and fresh lime-juice.
There's also local moon-shine (Lao Kao) which I've never tried (I do not drink any alcohol), but is supposed to be very high-proof, and, as often with illegal distilleries, from time to time a bunch of people die from it.

Aren't those the same markers that led Genghis Khan to enjoy alcohol and genocide? I'm pretty sure that Magyar is close to his birthplace, though that might be San Diego I'm thinking of...

I barely contribute to CodeProject but I've always found it a very helpful resource; especially in my earlier programming days. I've been coding in C# for a good six to seven years now and sometime ago I figured that I'd challenge myself at taking a stab on creating my own Simcity clone.

You can run it on the desktop with the WinForms client, but it's also possible to run it in your browser. What does CodeProject think?

And I agree that if you have spare time, try writing a few articles describing how the program is done.
