Just to express the fact that, once you have a zero involved somewhere in a multiplication, you cannot factorize or simplify anything.
You always obtain more by being rather polite and armed than polite only.

I had a friends college professor back in the 70's prove that 0 = 1. Using the same ideas. It took awhile to find the divide by 0. It always brings back fond memories of math.

I never did like that whole you can't divide by zero thing anyway. To me, something divided by nothing should be nothing {0} but according to math something divided by nothing is everything {inf}. Go figure.

Well, if you think about it, even -inf multiplied +inf should be -inf^2; and instead is only -inf.
Or inf - inf is indefinite. I d say it is zero! ...  what can we do? we are lost souls in a crazy world

I've yet to see one of these where the maths actually works. In step 2 you have (10*10) - (10*10), which you then change in step 3 to 10 * (10 - 10). You then factor that out and claim that 10 * 0 = 10.

For your proof you used the negative of your proof:

Here you say that 10-10 / 10-10 (which is 0 / 0) = 1. That is invalid because you just proved that it was 2. Hence that step is wrong.
I suspect you can "prove" that x/0 is any number. That is the whole reason it is "undefined".

I know the math is way off. It just appears to be correct at first glance. It is more of a joke for Wednesday morning than anything.

Two weeks driving around Romania. Well, ok, not just driving. We did stop now and again.
Spent some time in Mureş to check out Sighişoara, Maramureş (Sighetu-Marmației, Baia Mare mainly), Bistrița-Nasaud, ran down to Cluj and Alba Iulia.
Then, of course, played in Mamaia for a few days, before finishing up at home in Fieni.
Brought back some palinca to terrorize my friends with. I'll fill up two glasses. Slug mine down (which will be water, but they won't know that), and then watch them try to do the same with their glass of palinca.
